Jul 20, 2018, 12:00 PM

Registration for the 2018 Reimagining the Classroom Symposium is now open! This years theme, "Classrooms Without Borders," looks at relationships between classroom design, teaching pedagogy, and emerging technology.

This biennial event brings faculty, staff, and administrators together to discuss the current and future state of the university classroom in light of the changing landscape of higher education.

The Keynote Speaker is Dr. Lennie Scott Webber, who has pioneered research on the built environment and how classroom design impacts student engagement and learner success. Passionate about teaching and learning, she has conducted evidence-based design applications for over 20 years in academic and corporate settings including Director of Education Environments Globally for Steelcase Education. She is currently Owner/Principal of INSYNC:: Education Research + Design.

Roundtable conversations, campus updates, video vignettes of faculty who are teaching in our iFLEX active learning classrooms, and a game-based exploration of organizational and individual behavior will round out the day-long symposium events. Lunch is included.

Attendance is limited. Register soon to reserve your place. More information can be found at the Reimagining the Classroom Symposium website.
