Oct 11, 2018, 14:38 PM

Nearly 200 faculty, staff, administrators, & graduate students attended the 2018 Re-imagining the Classroom Symposium on September 28. The biennial event explores the relationship between classroom design, teaching, and learning. The mission of the event is to promote transformative learning experiences for our residential students by exploring the complex relationships between physical classrooms, teaching pedagogies, and emerging technologies.

This year's speaker featured Dr. Lennie Scott-Webber, a thinker on the evolution of what we know about learning, the learner and the learning place. Dr. Scott-Webber is the Owner/Principal of INSYNC:Education Research + Design.

Check out this short video on what students from the University of Illinois have to say about their classroom experience and what they'd like to see in the future.
