What We Do
The CITL Marketing & Communications Team consults with stakeholders to ideate, develop and deploy multichannel marketing campaigns tailored to your audiences and enrollment goals. We partner with you to establish Slate messaging to nurture prospective students, and ensure that the Registration & Enrollment team has consistent information for students at all stages of the enrollment process.
The CITL Marketing and Registration & Enrollment Teams also manage Illinois Online—the aggregate brand for online courses, certificates, degree programs, and Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs). We lead the Illinois Online marketing and communications efforts to showcase and promote the vast array of online educational opportunities to a wide range of campus, community, and professional audiences. Summer and Winter Terms
The Marketing and Registration teams support enrollment in Summer and Winter terms. We manage advertising and outreach campaigns to promote awareness and encourage enrollment, answer visiting students' questions, and process all non-degree registration course requests for these terms.
Non-Degree Registration & Enrollment
We manage myriad strategic and tactical services for non-degree enrollment. Our team maintains the course list of available courses for non-degree students and the corresponding registration portal for students not admitted to degree-seeking programs at Illinois. The team receives and processes student requests year-round, including enrollments, drops, cancellations, and withdrawals. We also provide direct support to academic units on policies and procedures for implementing new non-degree programs. The Registration & Enrollment staff serve as campus resources for non-degree populations, and connect departments across campus for program success. Most importantly, we seek to provide effective student support services by responding to prospective student inquiries and guiding learners through navigating university systems.
