Market Research

The CITL Marketing Team partners with academic units to learn about your program needs and goals, and then assess the potential for a new course, certificate or degree program or re-evaluate an existing program and its ongoing market viability. To help us make informed decisions and plans, we conduct the following:

  • Market Research: We will identify key demographics and target audiences and leverage data analytics to segment and position messaging for maximum impact.
  • Market Feasibility Study: We will begin by reviewing a client's research request intake form and scoping conversation with the research team. This process takes about 10 to 12 weeks to complete and includes interviews with experts in the field, data analysis, and the review of available secondary research.
  • Career Data Snapshot: We will aggregate labor insights and real-time intelligence by gauging job postings and employer demand for a specific degree or skillset. This process takes about two to three weeks and does not include interviews or secondary research.
  • Competitive Landscape Study: We will begin by reviewing a client's research request intake form and scoping conversation with the research team. This process takes about four to six weeks, and includes providing a comparison cost, content, delivery methods, time to degree completion. It also identifies desirable and unique program features and selling propositions that set it apart from the competition and make it an attractive, if not the best, option for prospective students.
