There are wide varieties of services and resources available to distance students at the University of Illinois. These resources will help get you started with your e-mail at the University; show you how to use various aspects of your learning management system or other course tools; help you with access to your student account and also assist you with course changes, ordering textbooks and taking exams.
Additionally, CITL provides the following student services:
- Registration services: Several online programs and courses are offered through CITL and our registration staff are here to help students with getting into the courses they need and assisting them with information about processes and procedures. They are often the first point of contact for a student who is not located on campus and help guide them through the registration process.
- Placement & Proficiency & ProctorU testing services for freshmen and transfer students. Placement testing enables students to be placed into appropriate classes at Illinois, while proficiency tests their levels of knowledge in a subject.
