The EPI is administered each semester. In Fall, Spring, and Summer 2 terms, first-time examinees are scheduled during the first half of the exam period. Those graduate students who are retaking the EPI are scheduled backwards from the end of the semester so that they have as much time as possible to finish ESL course work or tutoring.
Students should contact their departments to be registered for the EPI.
Fall 2021 interviews: Registration opened on September 17. First time examinees will be tested from October 4 - November 10. Examinees retaking EPI will be tested from November 11 - December 8.
Morning testing (Thursday, Friday): 9:30 am to 12:00 noon start times (Central Time USA)
Afternoon testing (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday): 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm start times (Central Time USA)
