View & Edit Pages
This technology tutorial will assist you with the following basic viewing and page editing tasks:
View a page
The wiki tools menu is located in the upper right hand corner of every wiki page and provides access to the most often used features of the wiki.

By wiki system default, wiki page content is automatically set up in View mode. The View mode presents visual content so that you can easily navigate through the content without including markup language. While in View mode, you cannot Edit content. You can switch from view mode to Edit mode by clicking on the Edit link in the upper right hand corner. You can always switch from other modes back to View mode from Edit mode by saving or canceling in Edit mode. Below is a list with a description of the various modes.
Mode | | Description |
VIEW | | View your content. |
EDIT | | The content is in Edit mode. You can edit your content using either the Wiki Markup editor or Rich Text editor. |
ADD | | You will see a pull-down list of options linked to this content page. |
TOOLS | | Wiki records the editing history of the page. You can find lists of editing history here. |
From the Tools menu, you can also use the Export to PDF or Export to Word links to convert the current page into a document for printing.
Edit a Page
To edit page content, click on the Edit tab; this switches the page content to Edit mode (see figure below).

Once you are in Edit mode, you can choose to edit your content using either the Rich Text editor or Wiki Markup editor. Here we will only focus on the Rich Text editor because it is intuitive and very easy to use. If you are a experienced wiki user, you may try the Wiki Markup editor, and switch between these two editors.
