Spanish Placement

Cutoff Scores and Placement Messages for 2016-2017

Placement into the Spanish courses is based on the student's score on the Spanish Placement Exam. Cutoff scores and placement recommendations are derived in collaboration with the Spanish Department and are reviewed annually. The policies below apply to all students entering Illinois in Summer 2016, Fall 2016, or Spring 2017.

The online Spanish Placement Exam does not award proficiency credit.
