Instructional Media Resources (IMR) provides a wide range of services to meet the instructional and research needs of the University of Illinois. To meet these diverse needs of instructors and students, we develop and deliver educational media content tailored to each course or discipline leveraging cutting-edge distribution technologies and enhanced accessibility features. Our curricular content is accessed by audiences around the world through the University’s online courses and MOOC offerings. In addition to content creation, we conduct and apply research into digital asset curation to ensure that our curricular materials will be available for long-term use, regardless of how formats and technologies evolve in the future.
Our diverse team is comprised of media producers, graphic designers, scientific illustrators, animation/visual effects developers, programmers, archival staff, and accessibility and copyright specialists.
