LibreOffice suite logo OpenOffice suite logoAt present, LibreOffice and OpenOffice applications (Writer, Impress, and Calc), do not have a built-in accessibility checker with step-by-step guidance. And while there are ways to improve the accessibility of Writer, Impress, and Calc documents, they cannot always be made fully accessible to all users, especially those with certain disabilities. LibreOffice is a fork of OpenOffice, and the conversion instructions are the same for both.

ⓘ  We strongly recommend exporting Writer, Impress, and Calc documents to their Microsoft Office counterparts and then making the MS Office version accessible.
